On or around March 1st 2024, you should be receiving an introductory email with the subject line “Vote in Your 2024 AAHOA Virtual Convention” from “Voatz Team | AAHOA” (sender email address: info.aahoa@voatz.com). It will be sent to the email address the AAHOA has on file.

Please download the app and verify your identity at your earliest convenience. This will ensure that you are ready to receive your ballot when the voting window opens.

Our Voter Guide provides step-by-step instructions to help you download the Voatz app and create an account. Help is also available in the app by tapping the Help button in the top right corner of most screens.
If you previously created an account in the Voatz app, you must use the same email address you used at that time. If this email address is no longer available to you, contact the Help Desk for assistance. Be sure to include your full name, the email address you previously used, and new email address you would like to use.
An SMS (text) notification will temporarily display at the top of your screen, but if you miss it, you can still retrieve it:
Please tap the request new code button to receive a new SMS registration code. It may take a few minutes to receive it, and when you do, check to make sure you enter all 6 digits correctly. Then you’ll be able to tap the Next button to continue creating an account.
Please quit the Voatz app, log in again, and tap Verifications. You should see a check mark next to Identity, and AAHOA should be listed on that screen. If 48 hours have passed and you’re still not verified, contact the Help Desk for assistance.

Please quit the Voatz app, log in again, and tap Verifications. AAHOA should be listed on that screen. If you don’t see it, contact the Help Desk for assistance.
Your ballot will be available once the voting window opens, and you will see a red circle next to Elections on the home screen. Tap Elections to view your ballot and vote.
If you don’t see a red circle next to Elections, tap the Refresh button (a circular arrow icon) located to the right of your name on the home screen. A red circle should appear, and you can tap Elections to view your ballot and vote.
If you still don’t see a red circle next to Elections, contact the Help Desk for assistance.
To view each candidate’s photo during the voting process, tap the “information” button located to the right of each candidate’s name. To close the image, tap the “X” in the top corner of each image to close it.
If your ballot contains a ranked-choice contest, you will have the option to rank your selections. Use the up/down arrows to rank your desired selections above the line on the screen. If you need help during the ranked-choice voting process tap Help in the upper righthand corner on the screen.

Your ballot receipt is sent to the email address you entered when you created an account. The email subject line is “Your Official Ballot Receipt” (sender email address: _______________@voatz.com). If you haven’t received the email, please check your spam, junk, and/or trash folder to make sure it didn’t end up there.
If you’re not sure what email address you used to create an account, go to the Voatz app home screen and tap Verifications, then tap Device. Press and hold the box to view the email address associated with your account.
From the Voatz home screen, tap Options, then tap Ballot Receipt Password. Press and hold the box to view your password. It might be helpful to write it down so you can easily enter it when you return to your email to view your receipt.
If you voted using an alternative voting method, your confirmation ID will appear on your screen.
